Oakwood Hall in Romiley, Cheshire has been converted into several luxury apartments, including quite a few basement conversions.
Wykamol have long been industry leaders in basement waterproofing, and were involved from the planning stage, working with the developers to ensure effective completion of the project. We proposed the use of 20mm membranes to floors and 8mm membranes to walls. Our strategy also included full perimeter channels and 4 double sump chambers throughout the property.
As the only UK-based manufacturer of cavity drain waterproofing membranes, Wykamol are uniquely placed to guarantee successful compliance with BS 8102:2009, the code of practice for protection of below ground structures against water from the ground.
