When a homeowner in the leafy suburbs of Manchester decided they wanted extra space they contacted one of our registered installers (Basements North West)
Tony Saville managing director contacted the waterproofing team at Wykamol and asked them to attend site to look at this project and design the scheme to waterproof the basement.
The property a large, detached dwelling had 4 chambers to the basement and the client anted a home cinema, bar and home cinema.
Wykamol came up with a specification of Type C Cavity Drain Membranes linked into a modular drainage system and specialist double pumped chamber and monitoring alarm system.
The project took 3 months from start to finish included in this was new concrete floors throughout the scheme.
As can be seen in the photographs our high visibility 20mm floor membrane is on the floors and our 8mm membrane to the walls also.
Being on site to advise the contractor and check on progress means that the installer is confident all the way through the project.
