Social Housing are now solving condensation and damp problems using an innovative waterproof thin internal wall insulation.

The social housing property in the pictures was causing headaches for the landlord as her long term tenants were complaining about cold and mould. A solution with minimal fuss and mess was therefore needed.

On the survey it was found that some penetrating damp had also occurred due to poor guttering, that has now been fixed. To further complicate matters the tenants had young children and nowhere else to stay during any works.

In comes the thin internal wall insulation which could be installed with no hack off of existing plaster and no drilling so minimal mess. We were even able to leave most of the sockets and switches in place so removed the need for an electrician. The result is that the house now has warmer walls, the tenants are happy with the freshly plaster skimmed walls looking brand new.
