Basement Conversion Costs?
One of the first considerations when embarking on any project should be – How much is it going to cost? Basement conversion costs like any project can vary considerably dependant on size, use of the new space and specification. In the construction industry people use a metre square rate multiplied by quantity to offer a very basic budget estimate cost. The basic rate estimate is subjective and rough, but it can provide you with a “ball-park” figure to establish if the project is something that you’d like to proceed with or not. A site visit should be carried out to assess feasibility of the basement conversion, to carry out fact-finding and to determine your more detailed requirements. After this visit a more comprehensive estimate of costs for the works can be provided.
