Basement waterproofing failure rectified by a new dual waterproofing scheme

The original waterproofing work on this property had failed, and the external membrane system that had been installed could not be accessed because all the grounds had been filled and covered over.

The scheme would still need a dual waterproofing scheme to cover the works to BS8102.

And of course, any design would need to be approved by a CSSW qualified designer.

Basement Waterproofing Solutions were on hand to repair the structure and bring the waterproofing works up to standard. Alongside this the Wykamol team approved the designs to waterproof the structure.

First a Type A cement-based coating, Hydradry, was used internally. This was then followed by a Type C membrane system to give the dual scheme.

Both systems are BBA approved and hold all relevant approvals for below ground waterproofing. Our registered installer was able to warranty all works for a period of 10 years for the client.

Our team works to BS102 on all projects and alongside this hold CSSW qualifications to be able to attend site and conduct designs to these kind of projects.

If you have a project, you need works or designs for, why not contact one of the Wykamol team for advice.
